Greater Bay Area Tourism Research Exchange

Date: Wednesday, 13 March 2019

Time: 15:00-17:00

Venue: Room FB114, Forward Building, Taipa Campus, IFT, Macao SAR, China

Background and purpose

The Greater Bay Area (GBA) is fortunate in having a number of leading and well recognized tourism & hotel schools which have a wealth of talent. Despite having hectic and busy schedules, and attending international conferences from time to time, academic faculty may have little opportunity to find out what’s happening (tourism research-wise)  in our own “backyard”.  Tourism Research Exchange provides an opportunity for tourism and hotel faculty within the GBA to get together in an informal setting to meet, share, and find out about what research activities colleagues are engaging in.

For the inaugural exchange, faculty from four institutions have been invited to share their research and experiences. An invitation is extended to tourism and hotel faculty as well as students from all GBA institutions to participate in this exchange, seek opportunities to network, and find out “what’s happening in our own backyard”.

The research exchange will be conducted in English.
